As a co-ordination of efforts between academic know how and field level do how, the Licencing board recommends the revised academic syllabus for the wireman trading and electrician trade taught in various industrial training institute and also diploma in electrical engineering taught in various polytechnics. At present there is only one level of electrical supervisors recognized by the Electrical Licencing Board. Since the areas of electrical science and electro technical field have extended programmes to recognize various levels of electrical technicians, on-site electrical supervisors and electrical engineers, field testers and electrical consultants for the design of various classes of electrical installations are under consideration of Electrical Licencing Board.
